Responsibility:
The Cuyahoga Valley Communities Council is a partnership of local and county governments, school and park districts, and the National Park Service working together to foster communication, realize opportunities, and resolve problems for the mutual benefit of its members.

Public Meetings:
Regular meetings of the Council are held in March, April, May, September, October and November. The annual meeting is held in February, at which time the officers and other members of the Board of Trustees are elected for the ensuing year.

Authorization:
IRS 501(c)(3) Organization, December 1977.

The majority of the Boards and Commissions in Cuyahoga County are Citizen Policy Making and Advisory Boards and Commissions. All of these boards and commissions are governed by the laws and regulations that have authorized them. Members represent the specific mission of the boards or commission to which they have been appointed.
