Responsibility:
The County Public Defender Commission shall appoint the County Public Defender. The Commission determines the qualifications and size of the supporting staff and facilities and other requirements needed to maintain and operate the office of the County Public Defender.

Public Meetings:
Meetings are held at least quarterly and, at such other times as called by the Chairman or by request of the Public Defender. The meetings are held in the Public Defender's office.

The majority of the Boards and Commissions in Cuyahoga County are Citizen Policy Making and Advisory Boards and Commissions. All of these boards and commissions are governed by the laws and regulations that have authorized them. Members represent the specific mission of the boards or commission to which they have been appointed.
